Welcome to the website of the official Model United Nations conference of the Humboldt-Gymnasium Vaterstetten – the HUGMUN.
After the foundation of a MUN seminar in 2019, we have participated in several MUN conferences across Europe. For 2021, we have decided to organize our first MUN conference, which will take place at our school, the Humboldt-Gymnasium Vaterstetten near Munich.

HUG - short for Humboldt Gymnasium? Sure, in a way. Indeed, it is supposed to abbreviate the phrase help us grow – but what does that mean?

At HUGMUN 2021, we offer various committees for different levels of proficiency and with different working objectives. Below, you can read about the committees and the topics they are going to work on.
Please take into consideration your own proficiency level when selecting your committee preferences during registration.

Fees
The following charges apply for participating in HUGMUN 2021 conference.
Please note, that part of the charge contributes to our fund enabling students from our school to participate in other MUN conferences regardless of their social background.
Delegates fee: 10,00€
Chair fee: 10,00€
F. Advisor fee: 10,00€
Experiencing MUN: Know your role!
Committee-specific documents such as study guides will only be sent out to participants who have directed their payments.
A goal of HUGMUN is to educate and inform about the work of the United Nations and the importance of international politics and diplomacy. Therefore, we are happy to answer questions by the press or enable visits by press representatives during the HUGMUN 2021 conference.
